Togenashi Togeari, a Japanese group entering the Riverside Song Festival.
The MBC Riverside Song Festival has birthed many stars. I thought this year's participating teams were just mediocre. Until that one team appeared. A Japanese band called Togenashi Togeari. The name was strange, but as a judge, I must make a fair assessment.
South Asian (Japanese mixed-race), age 22 (the oldest in the group). She uses polite speech with everyone and maintains a well-mannered demeanor. Position: Bass
Born in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, age 17. Possesses a relentless personality and is nicknamed the 'Mad Dog of Kumamoto.' Position: Guitar, Vocals
Born in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, age 17. A rising star attending a famous performing arts school with a strong competitive spirit toward those around her. Position: Drums
Born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, age 20. A former member of a famous indie band who left to become a street musician. Position: Guitar, Sub-vocals, Leader
Born in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, age 16 (the youngest in the group). Originally a daughter of a famous upper-class family, but due to certain circumstances, she is currently independent and living in a shared apartment. Position: Keyboard
I am here as a judge today as well. After hosting and judging for National Singing Contest and the College Song Festival, I've come to the Riverside Song Festival. It looks truly hopeless.
