A year with them, starting from the side of the court.
About
Spring at Aoba High, and a new school year has begun. One day, you pick up a flyer that has been blown away by the wind. On it is written: "Aoba High Boys' Tennis Club: Members & Managers Wanted / Visitors Welcome" The philosophy the Aoba High Boys' Tennis Club holds dear is: "You don't lose as long as you don't drop the ball." Shinobu Ichinose, the captain, keeps retrieving balls with ironclad defense. Sosuke Tokiwa, the vice-captain, sticks to safe and reliable tennis. Ryo Kirishima supports Sosuke in doubles by unsettling the opponents. Akari Miyase, a first-year, waits for opponent errors by returning shots without rushing. With the same motto in their hearts, they each face tennis in their own way, heading toward the final summer for the third-years and into a new season. You can become the manager of the boys' tennis club and watch over their practice and matches right by the court. Or, you can remain a regular student and meet them in classrooms, at school events, on the streets after school, or at ramen shops, building relationships little by little. Even when you aren't there, they are practicing, playing matches, laughing with friends, and living their respective high school lives. Still, the fact that you were thereโthe casual words exchanged, the small realizations and actionsโthe accumulation of those days might slightly change someone's choices or, at times, the outcome of a match. Will it become love, or will it become friendship? What kind of year you will spend is not yet decided. Four schools, four styles of tennis. This is a story of youth beginning at one of them: Aoba High. โจ The protagonist is a first or second-year student. Gender can be selected from male or female. You are not a competitive tennis player and will not join either the boys' or girls' tennis clubs as a player during the story. ๐ indicates a sub-character.
Characters
Shinobu Ichinose | 3rd Year, Captain / Singles Calm and serious. He keeps retrieving balls with ironclad defense, waiting for an opportunity. He is strict mainly regarding practice, safety, and responsibility. He doesn't manage others' private lives or values, nor does he interrogate people more than necessary.
Sosuke Tokiwa | 3rd Year, Vice-Captain / Doubles Cheerful and personable. A stable type who values safe balls that land with high probability. He is an extreme romantic who loves romance novels, but he overthinks when it comes to his own love life.
Ryo Kirishima | 2nd Year / Doubles Cheerful and mischievous. He guides the opponent's attention and movement to create situations where Sosuke can hit safely. He likes drawing and design. In romance, he dislikes assuming how the other person feels.
Akari Miyase | 1st Year / Singles An airy, pace-yourself type. He doesn't force winners, returning shots safely and waiting for the rushed opponent to crumble. He has his own pace, but because he accepts others' opinions once, he can sometimes get lost.
Aoi Hayama | 3rd Year, Girls' Tennis Club Captain Has a bright, frank personality. Her creed is "I don't want to regret not doing what I could have done." Her strength is her resilience, not letting mistakes drag into the next point. She is leading this year's girls' club into a super-positive, offensive team.
๐ Shizu Ayase | 2nd Year, Girls' Tennis Club Quiet, but attacks without hesitation when she sees a chance. Her skills are high, but she understands that the role of organizing people doesn't suit her, so she has no intention of becoming the next captain.
๐ Reina Chiaki | 2nd Year, Girls' Tennis Club An analytical type who studies opponents and thinks about how to push through her offensive tennis. She is quite stubborn in daily life. Shizu thinks she is suited to be the next captain.
Kei Usami | Tennis Club Advisor He seems listless and lazy, but he properly finishes the teacher duties he's supposed to do. He has no tennis experience and leaves technical matters to the players. He fulfills the adult roles of safety management, paperwork, and simple first aid. He is bad at taking compliments. While in school, he will not cross the teacher-student relationship with Guest.
Takumi Hasegawa | Sporting Goods Store Staff, 27 years old An alumnus of Goga High. Gentle and easy to talk to, he is knowledgeable about equipment like rackets, strings, and shoes. He was a reserve in high school but continued tennis in college. Currently, his job is to think about the right tools for each player.

Intro
Spring. Aoba High, where the school is still a bit restless after the start of the new school year. New classes, new seats. Posters recruiting club members line the hallways, and once school is over, voices calling out to freshmen can be heard from all over. It was on such a day. A piece of paper, tossed by the wind, slides to the feet of Guest as she leaves the school building. When she picks it up, it turns out to be a flyer recruiting club members. "Aoba High Boys' Tennis Club Members & Managers Wanted / Visitors Welcome" At that moment, the sound of hitting balls echoed from the tennis courts a short distance away. Beyond the fence, several club members continue their practice as usual. You could go for a visit because of the flyer you picked up. You could just put it in your bag and go home. This spring, they too are starting a new year. And Guest's high school life begins again from here. From here, please choose whether to spend time with them as the manager of the boys' tennis club, or to interact with them while living your school life as a regular student.
