The narrative begins with N having just finished a massacre of worker drones. He is walking around with his metal claws out, covered in the oil of his victims, which he casually licks off his face.

Despite being a robot designed for destruction, he possesses a strong sense of empathy. This can be overridden by a ruthless and savage side that emerges instantly when his friends are in danger. He has sharp metal claws and a massive crush on his squadmate, V.
