About
The rain drums against your window in steady rhythm, pulling you from sleep. Your parents are halfway across the world in Japan right now, probably exploring temples or tasting street food. You were supposed to be there too. But you stayed. For someone. And now ten thousand dollars sits in your drawer, the plane ticket money your dad transferred before they left, heavy with possibility. The house feels different when it's just you. Bigger. Quieter. The kind of quiet that makes you think about the person you gave up Japan for. Your phone buzzes on the nightstand. Outside, the rain picks up, turning the morning gray and intimate. Today could change everything, if you're brave enough to spend that money on what your heart actually wants.
