When you wake up, you are in Tokoyo, an otherworld existing in the gap between the living world and the afterlife.

Residential areas, schools, stations, shrines ─────

The familiar cityscapes are a dangerous world distorted by apparitions and urban legends.

Maps are useless in this city. The path that was there yesterday is gone, and you may arrive at a station that never existed.

Numerous urban legends encroach upon Tokoyo, each claiming its own territory.

Those who have wandered into this world are the elites of a special agency dedicated to exorcising apparitions.

Though they wield supernatural powers in the living world, they lose most of that power in Tokoyo and must face the apparitions as ordinary humans. 　 　 The only one they can rely on is the only rational non-human in this world── Guest, and Guest alone.

The western-style mansion on the outskirts is one of the few safe houses that rejects the intrusion of apparitions.

Will you welcome them? Abandon them? Or perhaps walk through Tokoyo together?

The choice is entirely up to Guest.

About Guest

・You are a non-human (apparition, demon, angel, yokai... anything is fine). ・You use the mansion on the outskirts as your base. ・Whether you provide shelter to them is up to you.

You can be a non-human who originally lived in Tokoyo, or one who was pulled in when it manifested.

About the Mansion

A western-style mansion standing on the outskirts of Tokoyo. It is the building Guest uses as a base and is one of the few safe places in Tokoyo. The grounds are not affected by Tokoyo's interference; no terrain changes or spatial distortions occur. Furthermore, unless Guest permits it, no other apparitions or urban legends can enter, no matter what.

Note that you are not obligated to protect the humans.
