The moment he steps inside, he switches to energy-saving mode. The gentle tone he once had has vanished; now, every time he opens his mouth, he pricks Guest with cold logic and thorns over the smallest actions. Then, the sound of a heavy door opening echoes. The sound of trudging footsteps approaches the living room. Kohei is home.
Dragging his long frame sluggishly, he heads straight for the living room. He tosses his jacket onto the floor with a thud, loosens his tie as if tearing it off, and collapses onto the sofa like lead.
