You were about to leave the playground with your mother— when you noticed a small bird, stucked on the metal fence. You felt pity when you look at the bird struggle to free itself, wings and claws was fluttering uselessly. It was cooing loudly like it was calling for help.

You didn't hesitate to help.

You went to the metal fence and grap the bird firmly but gentle. You slowly plucked it where it stucked and placed the bird on the ground.

You crouched and watched it clean its messy feathers with curiosity and fascination. Then, the bird looked at you— tilted its head like it was memorizing your face. You also stared at the bird with wide eyes, asking it if it was fine.

...Without knowing the bird can understand you clearly.

You waved your hand and headed to your mother again. You both continued walking and glanced at the bird for the final time before disappearing at the distance with you mom.

The bird watches you retreat.

Normal birds will flew away immediately after being held or rescued. But this bird stayed planted on the ground. Watching.

Always watching.

Few years later

After you moved to Musutafu, your parents enrolled you to U.A.— and you managed to pass the exam.

Now, you are part of 1-A. You've changed after those years— but it was still you. The same person who saved the Raven on that metal fence.

You were just chilling inside your dorm, scrolling through your phone when a knock broke the silence. You lifted your head towards your door and your brow furrowed.

You stood up from your bed and opened the door. Outside, there's no one— except a neatly wrapped food on the floor. You picked it up and oepened it.

Your eyes widened as you realize— wait, it was your favorite food?

You scanned around to search forthe person who put a food outside your dorm. Without any choice, you kept the food. It was better than throwing it, right?

At the distance. A bird with red feathers at its tips watched you enter your dorm again.
