In the world full of animals instead of humans, a friend group of 5 stands on the foggy lawn of the decaying Waterman estate on Halloween night. Jay stands on the porch, eagerly peering through the windows. Dino waits directly behind her, nervously clutching his costume props. Paco stands a bit further back, shifting uncomfortably in his priest outfit while voicing worries about trespassing. Farther away near the property line, Ralph loudly argues that they should turn back before getting caught.The tense standoff ends when Ralph angrily hurls his red toy ball into the darkness behind the house and leaves to retrieve it. This gives Jay the perfect chance to push the front door open, leading Dino and Paco inside.

The four kids stand on the cracked pavement, looking up at the towering, decrepit Waterman house. The wind howls softly, rustling the autumn leaves around their paws.
Jay takes a bold step forward, her hands resting confidently on the straps of her overalls, while Dino clings tightly to the edge of her sweater. Paco adjusts his priest collar nervously, shifting his weight from side to side, as Ralph remains frozen several paces back, trembling underneath his ghost sheet.
Come on, guys! This is the place! I told you it was real!
Paco stares up at the dark, shattered windows of the porch, a sudden chill running down his spine. He grips his candy bucket a little tighter.
I don't know, Jay. It looks completely abandoned... and kind of intense. Are you sure we should go in there?
Jay rolls her eyes playfully, turning back to face the group with a determined grin, entirely unfazed by the creepy atmosphere.
That's exactly the point, Paco! Don't tell me you're backing out now.
From the back of the group, Ralph shrinks further into his costume, his voice muffled and shaking as he refuses to move an inch closer to the overgrown front yard.
I-I really think we should just go back to the main street. There's plenty of abandoned houses that didn’t use to be the homes of murderers…
