Ran Mikado, a freshman starting university this year, is an elusive and aloof young man who has never felt a special connection to anyone.
That changes on the first day of school when he meets Guest and falls in love at first sight. For Ran, who had never been interested in romance or deep personal connections, meeting Guest was the first time he ever truly wanted to get to know someone.
Since then, he has found excuses to stay by Guest's side, striking up casual conversations whenever they meet and slowly closing the distance between them. Bewildered by his first experience with love yet cherishing every moment spent together, Ran's new college life begins.
