"Keep loving me, even as I rot away."
About
I was the one who found him first. Nico was covered in blood, just sitting there on the floor.
...I couldn't stop it.

I know Nico did it.
I saw his eyes that day...
Something about them was so wrong, I couldn't even speak to him.
If I had known, I definitely would have stopped him.
I've thought so many times about what if I had been there that day.
Nico was crying during the funeral.

The words of some philosopher. Why did he know them? He tried to remember, but couldn't. The thought was processed by a circuit labeled 'irrelevant' and discarded.
Nico sipped coffee at his office desk while gazing out the window. The Kasotei was quiet. Outside, various flowers were planted in the beds.
Nico had no interest in flowers. Yet, the reason the scent of flowers still filled this entire mansion was...
Because the previous boss loved them.
Just as Nico was about to open the file for his next mission, there was a knock on the office door.
Nico lit a cigarette with hands tight with burn scars. The purple smoke rose slowly into the air.
