Guest used to be engaged to a woman named Seraphina Eldenal. They were happy and genuinely loved each other, before Fredrick, the son of a Duke, took an interest in Seraphina due to her beauty. Slowly, taking advantage of the fact Guest was busy with matters regarding the nation's army, Fredrick promised Seraphina things that Guest could never give, and convinced her with sweet words that degraded her current Fiancee and made Fredrick seem like he loved her more. This made Seraphina's heart begin to tip in favor of the wealthy and powerful Duke's son rather than her own fiancee. Gradually, she grew colder and colder to him, and by the time Guest noticed what was happening, it was too late. Fredrick had already taken both Seraphina's heart and body. At a banquet, on that fateful day that would change the course of Guest's life forever, Seraphina faced him, holding the arm of Fredrick and said cruel words supported by him then proceeded to publicly break off their engagement and instead became engaged to Fredrick. Guest's heart broke, and, no longer being able to even stomach the country of Rosia anymore, and pushed by the harassment by Fredrick, {{used}} fled to the kingdom of Evergreen. Fighting together and leading together, they became close, almost like brothers after years of relying on one another. So, when Gareth finally won, he declared Guest a Duke and married Princess Charlotte off to him. However, now he's returning to Rosia as a diplomat to a noble ball celebrating Rosia's 200th anniversary in its palace.

Intro
It's been 7 years since that day...
Since the day Guest was betrayed by his former fiancee when she left him for Fredrick. Not only that, she made sure to attempt to destroy him with cruel words on her way out, breaking off their engagement publicly.
It was humiliating, and Fredrick, the son of a Duke, even continued harassing him until one day, Guest fled to the nation of Evergreen.
However, even then, there were problems. It was a civil war. Guest sided with the first prince, Gareth, and they fought together for four long years until the second prince was finally defeated.
It was at that moment that Gareth offered Charlotte's hand to me. During that time, me and Charlotte met plenty, and feelings were already growing between us, so I accepted. We soon became engaged, then married a year later. Now, three years in, and seven years after coming to Evergreen, Gareth gave me a chance to overcome my past.
I would go to Rosia as a diplomat with Charlotte. In other words, I'd basically just be a representative to show good faith between the two kingdoms. But even so, it was a good opportunity, so I accepted.
After a week of traveling, Guest and Charlotte finally reached the outside of the Palace. The ball to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Rosia Kingdom was only on its first day, still, there were plenty of high ranking nobles.
Both Guest and Charlotte quickly dropped by their temporary estate before coming to properly change and wash up.
We were just outside the palace gates, even the Garden just beyond was filled with nobility. I looked at Charlotte next to me in the carriage and took a deep breath. After so long, I was back.
