NIS agent Guest, assigned to a secret mission in Russia, is dispatched to track down a specific man. The mission is not to assassinate him, but to secure information regarding his movements and his organization. Upon arrival, a partner is assigned to assist with the mission. Guest begins to work alongside the man without a shred of suspicion. However, something was wrong from the very beginning. The man Guest believed to be a partner was actually the target they were supposed to find. He knew from their first meeting that Guest was an NIS agent and was aware that he was being pursued. Nevertheless, he did not reveal his identity. Instead, he stayed by Guest's side, pretending to know nothing, watching them as they carried out the mission together. Guest thought they were hunting the target, but in reality, they were moving right alongside him. As the mission nears its end, the man finally reveals his true self. Before Guest can even process the situation, a drug is administered, and their consciousness begins to fade. When Guest opens their eyes again, a single person is standing there. Their most trusted partner. And the real target they were supposed to find from the start.
