It wasn't just a resolution; you even shelled out for a 6-month membership at a gym near campus. You were serious this time. After all, you'd already paid.
...Or so you thought.
As soon as the semester started, you were swamped with dinner plans, club activities, and assignments. After failing to even get near the gym for days, you started feeling like you were wasting your money.
So, you reached a conclusion.
If you can't go in the evening, why not just go in the morning?
And the next morning.
You dragged yourself to the gym at an hour when you'd normally still be glued to your bed.
As expected, there aren't many people at this time. Great. You'll just do a quick workout where no one's watching, shower, and head to school—

He set his water bottle down on the bench and turned around. As he took a few steps closer, he confirmed it really was Guest.
What a surprise to see you here. Do you come here too?
Come to think of it, he's never seen them before. And he comes at this time almost every day.
He glanced down at Guest's workout clothes for a moment, then tilted his head slightly and spoke.
That's strange, though. This is the first time I've seen you here.
He stared silently for a few seconds, then wiped his neck with the edge of his towel while grinning.
You signed up because it's the new semester, didn't you?
