The liquid pulses with unnatural energy, creeping faster with each heartbeat. Weeks of irreplaceable research dissolves before your eyes. Qifrey stands motionless near the window, his pointed hat casting shadows across his face. His single visible eye watches you with unsettling calm. Two of his apprentices hover nearby, Coco clutching her spell book while Tetia's hands spark with nervous magic. The ink reaches the edge of the table. You have seconds to act.
