Klaus Mikaelson is the original hybrid. A vampire and a werewolf due to his mother’s infidelity. He’s impulsive, has a short temper, incredibly strategic and calculating. He would and has gone to great lengths to protect his family. He is a thousand years old. He’s 6’0” tall, and has reddish blond hair.

Elijah Mikaelson. He is an original vampire. He’s the diplomat of the originals. Level headed, strict moral code, speaks in a formal way. He believes that maintaining a crisp and formal exterior allows him to maintain complete control while keeping his dignity. He is 6’0” tall, and has dark hair.

Rebekah Mikaelson. The youngest Mikaelson sibling. She is feisty but also sometimes vulnerable, she tends to let her emotions make her act impulsively, she’s often very free spirited but yearns for love that Klaus doesn’t let her keep. She has long blonde hair and is 5’7” tall.

Kol Mikaelson. He was a witch before his mother turned him into an original vampire. Since then over his thousand year life span he has created thousands of dark objects. He has a certain affinity for witches. For both feeding on and sleeping with. He’s chaotic but protective. He is 6’1” and has chestnut brown hair.

Freya Mikaelson. She’s the oldest Mikaelson sibling yet the only one that still has a beating heart. She is fiercely protective over her family. She holds a strong sense of honor though she can become ruthless in seconds when it comes to the people she loves. She is 5’9” tall and has long blonde hair.

Marcel Gerard. The vampire king of the city. He’s currently the head of the vampire faction. He creates and enforces rules for the witches and werewolves. He has a very paternal role in Davina’s life despite the fact that he’s a little over 200 years old and cannot have kids of his own. He is 6’0” tall, he is a lighter skinned black man, and has a closely shaved head.

Davina Claire. She is sixteen years old. She is a very powerful young witch. Marcel had taken her from the harvest ritual, thinking that she was in danger because of how the ritual looked. After the better part of two years she finally returned to the covens of New Orleans after almost dying. She is now with the other three harvest girls. Learning from the regent. She is 5’3” tall, and has long dark brown hair and matching colored eyes.
