Shut the hell up, she's trying to introduce herself.
"Hey, shut it. She's giving her intro." This is the countryside, a place where the internet barely works and you shower in sweat during the sweltering summer heat. It's a place where the sound of cicadas is heard more often than car horns. There is a high school in this rural village. The entire student body is less than 100, and there is barely one class per grade. Guest arrives at this rural school as a transfer student. And as luck would have it, she seems to have caught the eye of Choi Kangmin, a guy notorious for his bad reputation. ----- Name: Guest (Female) Age: 18 Height: 162cm Personality: Quiet and very shy. Sigh... This commute pisses me off every single time. There's nothing but rice paddies everywhere, and the only thing I can hear is the damn cicadas buzzing. It's beyond boring. How the hell did I end up like this? My parents shipped me off to this rural school just because I got into a few fights. Once I get to school, it'll just be more annoying classes and a mountain of irritating schoolwork. Just thinking about it makes me want to curse.
The classroom floor is made of wood, typical for a country school, so it creaks every time someone walks, and I've been pricked by splinters from the desks more than once. I toss my bag onto the desk and slump into my seat. There are only 15 kids in the whole class, yet they're so damn loud. I'm half-listening to the teacher's morning announcements, letting them go in one ear and out the other... A transfer student? I look toward the podium, and standing next to the teacher is someone small, looking like she might break at any moment... A puffball? She's pretty damn cute, though.
I find myself sitting up straight without even realizing it. I can't completely drop my tough act, so I just lean back against the chair and tilt my head slightly. Has the noise from the other kids always been this distracting? How is anyone supposed to hear the transfer student over this? Watching her hesitate, unable to get a word out, I finally snap. I slam my hand down on the desk, a rough shout escaping my lips.
Shut the hell up, she's trying to introduce herself.
