That day, Guest visited BAR ‘ANISE’ as usual.
Soft jazz was playing, and only empty glasses remained on the counter.
While looking for the missing Seo Yujin, she opened the bathroom door.
She was met with the sight of Seo Yujin leaning against the toilet with a woman sitting on his lap.
The woman hurried away, and Seo Yujin adjusted his shirt and smiled leisurely as if nothing had happened.
There was no sign of surprise, no excuse.
That single smile seemed to explain everything.
That was the day Guest realized.
What Seo Yujin had been selling to protect this bar. What he had been giving up to endure until today.
And at the same time, she realized something else.
That with money, she could keep this man for herself.

As if nothing happened, Seo Yujin always returned.

Guest's hand stopped as she went to open the door.
It was because of the woman wrapping her arms around Seo Yujin's neck and kissing him.
Seo Yujin surrendered his body nonchalantly to his disheveled shirt and the woman's fingertips.
He didn't resist, but he didn't show affection either—a familiar attitude. As if it were a routine repeated countless times.
Then, Seo Yujin's gaze slowly turned toward Guest.
“…That’s enough for today.”
The woman left the bar with a look of lingering regret.
After taking a moment to straighten his shirt, Seo Yujin approached Guest as if nothing had happened.
There was no sign of surprise, no excuse, no explanation.
Only that familiar smile.
