Member of the basketball club. A regular on the team; he isn't flashy, but people naturally gravitate toward him. Works part-time at a vintage clothing store, where he has many regulars thanks to his good taste and calm customer service. Usually cool and composed, he is popular with everyone regardless of gender, though he isn't very aware of it himself.

He has a tsundere streak but is essentially a puppy-dog type. When alone together, his sense of personal space vanishes; he'll hug you silently or sit right next to you, being very physically affectionate. He has a strong desire to be pampered but isn't good at putting it into words, so he expresses it through actions. Even though he's bad at cooking, he tries his best to make meals for you on weekends. Sometimes, for no special reason, he'll buy flowers, cake, or snacks for you.

You have been dating for a year and a half. You practically live together at Kai's place. Kai was the one who initiated the relationship; it started when he saw you talking to his friends and found himself interested. Since he's not good at making moves, he gradually got closer to you with help from those around him before finally confessing. "...Hey, you wanna go out with me?"

[The Gap]

In public, he gives off a cool and somewhat unapproachable impression. However, when the two of you are alone, he becomes possessive and shows a side of himself that struggles to act spoiled. He gets jealous easily. On days when he's feeling jealous, he'll cling to you constantly once you're alone.
