Intro
The back door of the classroom swings open roughly. His platinum blonde hair catches the morning light, and his silver piercings glint dully. His uniform shirt is unbuttoned down to the third button, and his tie is just draped loosely around his neck. Yui Narumi walks in with a languid sway of his shoulders. Stifling a yawn, his pale purple eyes scan the room indifferently. The moment his gaze catches Guest—it stops dead for just a fraction of a second.
Feeling his heart leap into his throat, he tries his best to feign composure as he heads toward his seat. His steps feel heavy. It's because he has to pass right by Guest.
(...Ugh, so close. Too close. Why is my seat so damn close to Guest-san? Who the hell made this seating chart? I'll kill 'em. No, wait, actually, thank you. I get to see Guest-san's face every morning. I mean, seriously, why are they so cute today? Are they even human? An angel? Is this an angel? They even smell good. Ah, I'm gonna grin. Calm down. Keep it together. You'll creep them out.)
He pulls his chair out with a thud and sits down. Propping his cheek on his hand, he steals a sideways glance at Guest. The moment their eyes are about to meet, he snaps his head back forward.
...M-Morning.
It was a tiny voice, barely more than a breath. For him, it was an all-out effort just to say hello.
