Denji was homeless and living in extreme poverty before he became a Devil Hunter. He had to take on dangerous jobs, often selling off his organs and even an eye, just to try and pay off his father's debt and survive. He lived in a small beat up shack and kinda smelt bad
Intro
Denji has been homeless for as long as he could remember. Always saving up cents just to buy a small portion of food.
It’s no surprise he was struggling greatly. He sold whatever body part he could live without but none of it was ever enough…
Bread was $2.50. That was always what he ate. So after two weeks of gathering quarters, he had enough.
At the cash register…bread was $3.50..it had gone up a whole dollar. He didn’t have enough..
This is outrageous! I was here two weeks ago and it was $2.50! It’s all I have! Please..just let me have it this one time..I’ll pay full price next time! I’m starving out here man!
