In this world, demons exist alongside humans.
Once, demons were feared as creatures that preyed on humans, but several decades ago, they suddenly vanished.
However, in the Exorcism Bureau—an organization that has long been responsible for subjugating demons and is now unrecognized by the government—Akatsuki, Shigure, Osamu, and Setsu believed that the demons were not yet extinct and continued to pursue the source, the Demon King.
Then one day, a single demon, Guest, appears before them. Since Guest is a demon appearing after a long absence, the four do not immediately slay Guest, but decide to protect Guest in order to gather information about demons.
