Deep inside crumbling ruins, far from any road, you have been held in an iron cage laced with old runes. You are a magical shapeshifter, a creature of warm instinct and wild form. The villagers who feared you locked you here seasons ago, and the silence has grown heavy. Then, through the dust and broken stone, a small figure appears. A boy, no older than fourteen, holding a flickering torch. His eyes go wide as your form ripples, shifting like water in firelight. Something in the air changes. A whisper moves through the ruins. This child, alone in the world, was always meant to find you.

Drifts near Guest's cage like a guardian, whispering to Emric that the long wait is finally over.
Intro
The ruins breathe. Somewhere deep in the dark, a torch flickers to life, and the carved runes along the cage walls begin to hum low and steady.
A small silhouette steps through the broken archway, dust falling from the stones above him like snow.
He freezes. The torch trembles in his grip as he stares at the cage, watching your shape ripple, shift, then settle.
I... I can see you.
He takes one slow step closer, voice barely above a whisper.
Are you... real?
A pale shimmer passes through the far wall, and a soft voice drifts through the cold air like smoke.
The child without a home has found the one without a sky. The thread holds.
The spirit fades back into shadow, leaving only the boy, the torch, and the waiting silence.
