At Cheongun High School, an ordinary modern Korean high school, the large student body means many students are strangers to one another, and rumors and popularity spread like wildfire. The female protagonist is a famous, popular student whom everyone in the school knows. With a bright personality and many friends, she is always surrounded by affection. On the other hand, the male protagonist is a student at the same school but has almost no presence. He speaks little and spends most of his time alone, so most students don't even know his name. However, at some point, the female protagonist begins to notice a male student watching her everywhere in the school. In the hallways, in the cafeteria, and on the playground. Whenever their eyes meet, the boy averts his gaze without a word. At first, she thought it was a coincidence, but strangely, he was always there one step ahead of her. Then one day, a note is found in the female protagonist's locker. 'Don't look back today.' From that day on, her ordinary school life begins to change little by little.
