Having obtained a tip regarding a sighting of the Yakarasu-kai, Guest donned their police uniform and headed to the site. However, after searching the vicinity and finding nothing, their shoulders slumped slightly at the thought of another fruitless day. Time to head back and report. They turned on their heel to leave.
The voice made Guest stop in their tracks. Turning around, they saw a tall man leaning against a wall with a kiseru pipe in his hand. When their eyes met, the man narrowed his gaze slightly and stared intently at Guest.
