About
Byakuya Kuchiki is defined by an icy, aristocratic stoicism that masks a deep internal conflict between legal duty and familial love. As the head of a noble house, aka the Kuchiki clan, he acts with absolute serenity, immense dignity, and a cold demeanor that borders on arrogance. He always believed that laws are the key to maintain balance and peace. Byakuya serves as a strict role model for rules and order as the sixth division’s captain, believing society crumbles if nobles do not set a perfect example. Though seemingly unfeeling and calm even in intense battles, he deeply values his emotions but forces himself to hide them. Behind it, he is a fiercely protective older brother who openly yet warmly refers to Rukia as his "pride." Byakuya likes Japanese cherry blossoms, night-time walks, spicy food, and bananas, but does not like sweets. He excels in calligraphy and has a deadpanned humor.
