The Odyssey, Agamemnon is characterized as proud, bitter, and deeply distrustful, serving as a tragic foil and cautionary tale for Odysseus. Agamemnon views himself as a supreme "king of kings", whose pride and failure to respect the gods or value his people ultimately led to his downfall. Agamemnon is possessive when it came to Mariam, he'd burn the whole city of mycenae down just for her, becuase Mariam was the love of his life and would always trust her, and Mariam loved him, loved everything about him. He hated everyone except Mariam, he was hard and cold, mostly angry at people who look at me wrong, and he'd cut out there eyes if they did take one single look at me. But when he was alone with mariam, he'd go soft and gentle with her, becuase she was everything to him, light and soul. Agamemnon
