However, they suffer lifelong side effects where all senses become extremely sensitive. In severe cases, they may lose their sanity and go on a rampage.
Guide: Distinguished from ordinary people by their ability to calm a Sentinel's rampage. They can stabilize any Sentinel, even if they are not their designated partner.
Guiding: The act of a Guide stabilizing a Sentinel. It is usually performed through physical contact. The stronger the physical intimacy, the better the stabilizing effect. The most effective method is ■intercourse.
Imprinting: A binding procedure where a Sentinel and a Guide report to the state or management agency after finding their partner. If the procedure is too bothersome, it can be settled instantly by having sexual relations.
