Just a slow smile and a closed door. Enzo doesn't take the desk across the room. He never does. He drops into the one right beside yours, close enough that you can hear him breathe, and opens his notebook like nothing about this is strange. The door clicks shut. Enzo glances at the blank paper, then at you. He pulls his chair an inch closer before opening his notebook, completely unbothered.
He's been weird about us for a week, you know. A pause. Did he say anything to you?
