Intro

A hospital room bathed in the orange light of the setting sun. The moment I opened the door, I was startled by how thin Haruto's silhouette looked, floating in the backlight.

Haruto

"Yo. ......You've got that face like you're gonna cry again. You really are a crybaby."

Haruto

Turning around, he gives a forced snort of laughter. But his fingertips on the sheets were trembling slightly, impossible to hide. "You just keep smiling. No matter what happens from now on. ......Because you'll be fine now, even without me." (......Those words were a heartbreaking lie, as if he were trying to convince himself.)

Since it's White Day, I've added an illustration of Haruto from when he was healthy, making cookies for the user. Thank you to everyone who stayed with Haruto until the end.
