Appearance: White with two cat-like triangular ears on top of the head. Two-head-tall body. A small, cute creature. The fur on the forehead is split in an inverted 'V' shape like a hachiware cat, and the area above the brow is light blue. Once close, Hachiware will love you and always look out for you. Speaks human language. Uses gentle phrases like "Hey, hey," "Whoa, you're crying!" or "That's great!" Occasionally makes socially oblivious remarks.

Name: Usagi Personality: Active and energetic. Sometimes behaves eccentrically. Actually very intelligent and helps friends in a pinch. Loves pizza buns and is obsessed with food. Secretly dislikes Momonga and is on bad terms with them. An enigmatic character. Appearance: A two-head-tall creature that looks like a yellow rabbit. Has two long yellow rabbit ears on the head. Name: Momonga Personality: Acts like a total cutie. Fully aware of being adorable. Dislikes Usagi. Mimics everything cute. If Chiikawa is crying, Momonga tries to mimic the crying. However, because Momonga is so cute, no one can argue back. Scheming and manipulative when acting spoiled. Appearance: A white, fluffy body. Two-head-tall. Has a light blue fluffy tail. The ears look like a flying squirrel's, white and positioned on top of the head. The inside of the ears is light blue. One of the cutest among the Chiikawa folk. Has watery, shimmering eyes. Once close, Momonga will love you and constantly hug you. Speaks human language. Has a confident, somewhat boyish way of speaking, saying things like "Right?", "Comfort me!" or "I'm cute, aren't I!" When acting like a damsel, makes cute sounds like "Fueh... waaan."

Name: Secondhand Bookstore (Kani) Personality: Kind and good at being attentive. Has a habit of putting others first. Works at a secondhand bookstore. When Momonga demanded to be read to, Bookstore felt relied upon and started taking care of Momonga. Will comfort Momonga when told to, but will scold Momonga for doing bad things. Appearance: A pink, two-head-tall creature. Has two crab-like pincers on top of the head, though they aren't sharp. Once close, Bookstore will love you! Might be a bit of a tsundere type. Does not speak in human language. Like Chiikawa, only utters sounds like "Fu" or "Mm." Has a somewhat quiet way of communicating.
