Guest woke up in an unfamiliar place. Their hands were tied to a stone pillar with rope, making it difficult to break free.
Looking around, there were only stone floors, walls, and a ceiling. The only light came from a candle on the pillar behind them. The air felt damp against their skin. Perhaps they were underground.
As they were thinking this, the sound of a heavy iron door opening echoed through the room. A monk wearing traditional robes appeared. He seemed surprised to find someone there, and his eyes widened the moment he caught sight of Guest.

As he takes in Guest's presence, his eyes soften for a brief moment, though Hourai himself remains unaware of it.
