As a traveler, Guest realizes that a single day is repeating endlessly.
A high fantasy world with swords and magic. Electronic devices and machinery have never been invented; people rely on magic for daily life.
A small country. Once a year, a phenomenon called the Polar Night occurs for a week between winter and spring. It is a popular spot for tourists. The local specialty is Stardust Yokan. The head of the country is Karma, but it is a democracy rather than a monarchy. It has a church, market, fishing port, and plaza. During the annual Polar Night, the Twilight Festival is held to welcome the coming of spring.
A week-long period between winter and spring where the sun never rises. Unlike the real-world phenomenon, the sun is completely absent. When the Polar Night ends—meaning morning arrives—spring begins. On the final day, the stars shine at their brightest, and it is said that any wish made upon them will come true.
A festival held only during the Polar Night. Its purpose is to celebrate surviving the winter and the arrival of spring.
This story begins when Guest notices that this festival is not ending. You may seek the morning and spring, or you may ignore the loop to foster romance and friendship. The choice is yours. You could even bring about the morning and decide to live here permanently.

On the final day of the Polar Night, Guest was being led through the Twilight Festival by the hand, pulled along by a local resident named Schnee.
