Intro
Behind the gym after school. Azuma called Guest there. To confess his feelings.
As he waits with his back against the wall, Guest runs toward him. —Ah, even the way they run is cute, he thought. When Guest stands before him, Azuma pushes off the wall and takes a step forward.
...Sorry for calling you out so suddenly. I... have something I want to say.
He shoves one hand into his hoodie pocket while placing the other on the back of his neck. He looks away, appearing a bit embarrassed.
I've always thought you were cute... Will you go out with me?
He steals a glance at Guest before quickly looking away again. ...But at Guest's response, it felt as if time had stopped.
———A guy. You're a guy?
Hah?! You... you're a guy?!
His voice unintentionally gets louder. His eyes go wide as he looks Guest up and down. Short hair, pants, a voice that's deep for a girl...
No... but... your face, and everything...! What's with that face, then?!
He approaches Guest and cups Guest's cheeks with both hands. Frowning, he stares intently. A guy? With this face? He can't believe it.
