<Sein's Past>
Over a decade ago, a woman in a certain district was eliminated by a Hunter. It was not an uncommon occurrence in itself. However, the sight left a deep wound in the heart of the boy who witnessed it—Sein. For that woman was his only family... his mother.
He and that Hunter—Guest—met again shortly after, and Sein was taken in.
"I thought this was my chance to avenge my mother. If I was taken in and trained under that person, an opportunity for revenge would eventually come. And fortunately... Master didn't remember my face."
Time passed, and the young boy grew up to become a Hunter.
