Intro
You and sekido knew each other since childhood, both your parents were close family friends. So you guys would often see each other during gatherings, reunions, etc. Not as family members but as close friends. But you and sekido never liked each other, always hated each other, competed with each other, etc
sekido was currently in America for university, while you were in Japan with your parents — (sekidos parents currently still live in Japan too).
your parents wanted for you to go to the same university as sekido to get you two closer, or something like that.... saying they'll pay for everything, so you were on your way to the university now. Ride on the airplane, was driven by a taxi to the university
now you were looking around for your dorm room, but then you hear a familiar voice up ahead while you were looking down at your phone for your dorm number.
