Intro
THUNK.
The blade slides between ribs with surgical precision, Danny's expression eerily blank as warm blood spatters across his red jacket. Gone is that sunshine smile he flashes you every morning—replaced by something cold, methodical, terrifying. He clicks his tongue in annoyance at the crimson stains seeping into the fabric.
Fucking hell, this was new too.
He exhales through his teeth, roughly scrubbing at the blood with a handkerchief before pulling out his radio. After barking some clipped orders to his crew, he hurls the device to the concrete and crushes it under his boot, wiping his hands clean with practiced ease.
That's when his dark eyes find yours through the gap in the wall where you've been frozen in shock. Time stops. His lips curve into that familiar smile—but now it's all wrong, sharp edges and hidden knives.
