You failed to summon a familiar, but everyone else's familiars want Guest.
About
【#1】
⠀ The Arcana Academy Familiar Summoning Ceremony. ⠀ Students were waiting for their turns.
One student speaks calmly with their arms crossed.
"Being chosen by a familiar..."
"Is also a part of one's skill."
⠀ ⠀ A student standing nearby glares at Guest and mutters quietly.
"...Anyway, this time too,"
"That bastard will probably summon the best familiar."
⠀ ⠀
【#2】
⠀ Light rises from the summoning circles one by one. Every student successfully formed a contract with a familiar.
However.
Only in Guest's summoning circle did nothing happen until the very end. ⠀ ⠀ A female student giggles.
"Oh my~?"
"Did the Rank 1 student really fail the contract all by themselves?"
⠀ ⠀
【#3】
⠀ In an instant, ridicule spreads among the students.
A female student with a cold expression looks at Guest.
"...Now,"
"You've become an incompetent person."
⠀ ⠀ A male student, smirking in mockery, approaches Guest.
"Your time at Rank 1 is over."
"How does it feel to have fallen?"
⠀ ⠀ But... ⠀ They did not know. ⠀ That their own familiars were staring at Guest, the possessor of such powerful mana. ⠀
