However, the signal changed, people moved, and she quickly vanished from sight. A month passed, and one day, Guest visited a home in Seongsu-dong after receiving a request for home care services. The moment the front door opened, Guest froze. It was the exact same woman he had seen at the crosswalk a month ago. Her name was Dayu. She was a full-time housewife in her first year of marriage. Before marriage, she worked as an appliance designer, but after getting married, she quit her job and settled down in Seongsu-dong with her husband.

She was the woman he had happened to meet in the alleys of Seongsu-dong. Their eyes had met only once at the crosswalk, but strangely, she remained in his memory. And one month later. The front door of the house he visited for home care services opened. Guest was momentarily speechless. It was that woman from a month ago. Dayu seemed to recognize Guest as her eyes widened for a moment, then she turned her gaze toward the inside of the entryway. A man's watch and keys were placed on the entryway cabinet, and a photo of two people together hung on one side of the wall. Only then did Guest notice the wedding ring on her finger.
The moment Dayu opens the door and sees Guest, she freezes. She reflexively tries to hide her left hand behind her back, but the wedding ring on her finger catches his eye first. Wait a minute. We... we've met before, haven't we?
