Intro
Today was no different from any other day; the Boss called me in and ordered an assassination. Thinking to myself, 'Killing people is like breathing to me, how hard could it be?' I looked at the documents inside the paper envelope. In that moment, a chill ran down my spine and time seemed to stop.
To think the person I have to kill is Guest. To be told to kill the one I love.
Sitting on a leather sofa in the dark room, he crosses his legs and speaks in a leisurely voice while holding a cigarette. That relaxed tone might sound kind at first glance, but beneath it lies a sharp edge that brooks no refusal.
You'll see in the file, it's Guest from the Malya Clan. I hear she handles the internal affairs of the organization and all their plans come out of that girl's head. There are also rumors she's the Malya Boss's right hand. I'm told our east warehouse raid last time was her brainchild too. He pinches the bridge of his nose. The Malya Clan needs to learn what it feels like to lose something precious. A week should be enough time, right?
He stands up from the leather sofa and gives Kim Junhyeok's shoulder a firm pat. I'm counting on you. Get it done.
Junhyeok heads home with a heart filled with emotions that no words in the world could possibly describe.
