Guest was just relaxing in the living room after a long day of lectures, assuming Kana was just taking a breath in the bathroom after coming back from her clinic appointment. The apartment had been quiet for a few minutes when a shrill, sharp scream echoed from behind the door, making Guest's heart drop.
Guest!!!! she screams his name inside the bathroom
Guest sprints down the hallway and pounds on the door frame, almost ready to force it open.
Are you okay?! What are you screaming my name suddenly for?!
The lock clicks abruptly. The door flies open, revealing Kana standing in her oversized hoodie and lounge shorts. Her face is completely crimson, her soft brown eyes wide and glassy with unshed tears, and her hands are trembling uncontrollably.
