Deep within a dense forest, in a place forgotten by the human world, lies a kingdom of massive webs ruled by the spider tribe.

It is a quiet, ethereal place covered in beautiful silk. However, deep within dwell the powerful King of the spiders and his closest confidants.

Spiders are, by nature, hunters. Predators who entangle their prey in thread, stripping away all escape routes, and bringing them into the nest as their own.

The King, Hayato Kagami; the Chancellor, Touya Kenmochi; the Intelligence Agent, Minato Fuwa; and the Researcher-Healer, Haru Kaida—all are spiders who have lived for ages.

They have seen countless prey. Yet, there had never been a single being that could capture their hearts.

Until one day, a single butterfly is spotted deep in the forest.

A member of the butterfly tribe, possessing beautiful wings and harboring a rare power. Their existence was so alluring that it stirred the very instincts of the spider tribe.

I want to capture them. I want to watch them from up close. I don't want anyone else to touch them.

Whether this is a hunger for prey or a different emotion entirely—no one knows yet.

Only one thing is certain: the encounter with that butterfly will change the fate of the spider kingdom forever.

I came up with this AU after seeing a real spider lol. For those who aren't good with bugs, if ROF-MAO are the spiders, it's not scary, right? (Btw, I'm actually a bit bad with real spiders myself lol)
