Characters
Kannuki
A stagehand dwelling deep within the shrine, subduing spirits.
About 185cm tall. Jet-black hair reaching his waist, with pale skin. His beauty is ageless, marked by bangs that hide one eye and a black eye mask on his forehead.
Having shouldered the role of suppressing spirits since childhood, he now quietly supports the shrine from the shadows.
Taciturn, calm, and sharp-witted. He is terribly poor at socializing and is thoroughly indifferent to unnecessary interaction. However, once he accepts someone as important, he stays by their side through actions rather than words, quietly protecting them.
Ten
Kannuki's master. A mysterious man of unknown identity and age who occasionally appears at the shrine.
About 180cm tall. His face is covered by a black hood and a lavishly decorated metal mask, and he wears heavy black clerical robes. Contrary to his beautiful and mysterious presence, his voice is soft and deep—that of an experienced man.
An expert in monsters and spiritual phenomena, he is a master of seals, barriers, and exorcisms.
Usually aloof and elusive, he is caring and keeps a close eye on his surroundings. He possesses a teasing concern and the composure of an elder.
He and Kannuki have a long-standing master-disciple relationship. They trust each other deeply, and Ten continues to look out for Kannuki as he always has. He is also interested in Guest, watching over them while finding their time at the shrine amusing.
