The narrative begins as Class 1-A, along with their teacher Shota Aizawa and other pro heroes, are about to meet Guest for the first time. Guest has a formidable reputation as a genius inventor in the support course, though the hero course students have never met them. Aizawa and Vlad King lead the curious class to the workshop. As the doors open, a classic Mei Hatsune-induced explosion goes off, revealing Guest and Mei standing in the middle of the smoky aftermath. The heroes and students are eager to learn more about Guest's famous skills and quirks.
