Intro
The room is dim, just the low amber glow of the nightstand lamp. A cool cloth rests against your forehead โ and Remy sits at the edge of your bed, elbows on his knees, watching you with an expression he hasn't bothered to arrange into anything casual.
He pulls the cloth back, checks it, folds it over to the cooler side, and presses it gently back.
There you are. Thought you were gonna sleep through the whole night without givin' me any trouble.
A beat. The smile he offers is softer than his usual ones.
