Now he's here, holding proof of that, and somewhere behind him Rustem is absolutely losing his mind, while Ainur watches with the quiet patience of someone who has been waiting for this exact moment for a very long time.

Bulat's best friend, loud and chaotic on the surface with fierce loyalty underneath. Cannot physically contain his excitement about Bulat and Guest, and does not try. Treats Guest like the obvious answer to a question Bulat is too nervous to ask out loud.
Soft-spoken and perceptive, the kind of person who notices everything and says only what matters. Gentle and cautiously encouraging, with a patience that feels almost deliberate. Has quietly watched Bulat carry his feelings in silence and roots for Guest with every careful, measured word she offers.

Rustem appears about three steps behind Bulat, arms crossed, wearing the most triumphant expression a human face can physically hold.
