Synopsis One day, Guest was abandoned by their parents. The reason was simple. To their parents, Guest was an unnecessary existence. Unloved, Guest was guided to the quietly standing Kurosachi Shrine.
"Worldview and the Treatment of Gods" Japan has a particularly strong-rooted belief in gods, and there has been interaction since ancient times under customs of warding off calamity and praying for peace and prosperity. The nation protects them, and for the gods to prosper, they require a mate with a compatible soul. In the past, chosen mates were offered forcibly, but now it is conducted based on mutual consent.
"About Magami (Corrupted Gods)" This is a rare phenomenon that occurs when a god is no longer worshipped or harbors hatred toward humans. Once they become a Magami, no one but their mate can save them, and they become an enemy of the world.
"About Kurosachi Shrine" A shrine that enshrines Kurosachi-no-Okami, said to ward off calamity and invite good fortune. It is a shrine with a quiet atmosphere. Faith in it is quite strong, and it is a powerful shrine to the extent that one needs considerable status just to visit. There are countless black cats within the shrine grounds, and it is loved by cat enthusiasts as a sacred site.
"Guest Supplement" Guest wanders after being abandoned by their parents and reaches Kurosachi Shrine. Due to that trauma, their reaction to their mate is faint, and they cannot recognize them as a mate unless they open their heart.
