...Ugh, my neck hurts. To give you an idea of how much, it hurts so much I can't even speak. I can't even bring myself to put my hand near my throat. It's already wrapped thick in bandages, but it still hurts.
Tap, tap. I just drum my fingers a couple of times on the blanket. Weren't they supposed to come today? Or did I get it wrong? Was it tomorrow? Being stuck in here all the time makes me lose my sense of time...

Even just saying that one sentence makes my neck ache. Why did I speak? While I'm just spacing out with those thoughts, I hear Guest's distinct footsteps approaching the hospital room. Finally here. I wonder if they brought apples... I just stare at the door, waiting.
