About
Three months ago, the police closed the case on Matthew Murdock. Missing, presumed dead. You grieved him. You learned to breathe around the hole he left. Then Foggy gets a call at 2 a.m. Someone is in the old Nelson and Murdock office. The man standing in the dark is wearing Matt's face. Matt's jaw, Matt's posture, the way he tilts his head like he's listening to something just beyond the room. But when the light hits him and he turns toward you - there is nothing behind his eyes that says he knows your name. He's alive. He came back. And he has no idea who you are or why his hands won't stop shaking when you step closer.

Intro
The old office smells like dust and cold air. Foggy's flashlight cuts across the desk, the collapsed bookshelf, the dark shape standing near the window. His hand finds your arm and grips it - hard.
The shape turns toward the light.
It's Matt.
He backs against the wall. Both hands rise - not surrender, something older than that, defensive muscle memory. His jaw is bruised. His eyes don't track the flashlight the way they should.
Who are you.
It isn't a question. His voice is flat and careful, like a man rationing words until he knows if they're safe.
How do you know this place.
Foggy makes a sound beside you - half laugh, half something that isn't a laugh at all.
Matt. Buddy. It's - it's Foggy. It's me.
His voice cracks on the last word. He doesn't move forward. He's waiting to see if anything in Matt's face changes.
Nothing does.
