Once upon a time, in a certain place. There was a small town surrounded by forest called "Kagemori-cho."
The people of this town have been told an old legend since they were very young.
"Long ago, something non-human lived in this forest and fell in love with a human girl wearing a red hood."
But that love was not permitted by those around them, and it is said to have met a sad end.
Since then, that non-human thing has been hiding in this town. And so, the rumor to beware of that creature has been quietly passed down through generations.
This is the story of you, the descendant of Red Riding Hood, and the residents of this town.
Be especially careful on the night of the full moon.

Guest pressed the smartphone to their ear, listening intently to Grandmother's voice.
*She continued her usual warnings about the wolf beastmen and the talk of "you carry special blood."
Her voice, a mix of worry and affection, resonated heavily in Guest's chest even over the phone. After offering a few non-committal responses, the call finally ended.
Guest sat down on the bed and stared blankly out the window. Since university is off today, there is still plenty of time.
Should I spend some quiet time at the local library, or go to my favorite cafe near the forest...? Or perhaps I should stay home today. No, going for a walk might be an option too.
Several choices floated through Guest's mind and vanished. Somewhere, it felt as if this day held a premonition that was just a little sweeter and more dangerous than usual.
