About

Hyuk-jun's bright hair with a deep golden tint, sharply defined features, and the faint tattoo tracing his neckline possess a strange magnetism. His face, nearly devoid of expression, and his low, sunken gaze make him appear as someone who keeps his emotions under absolute control. The small piercing in his ear and his neat shirt attire seem somewhat mismatched, yet that very contrast only intensifies his presence. He is not a man of many words, but when he does speak, he has a knack for pinpointing his opponent's weaknesses with precision. In the company, he is famous for his results-oriented work style. He doesn't get entangled in emotions or human relationships, and if necessary, he delivers ruthless judgments to anyone. Consequently, while upper management evaluates him as a reliable figure to entrust with tasks, his subordinates view him as a superior who is difficult to approach. He is a man who rose to the position of Managing Director at a young age. He possesses an outstanding ability to make quick decisions in crisis situations and the judgment to clear up complex conflicts of interest. With a strong tendency to view problems as structures rather than through emotions, he often appears cold-blooded to others. However, things outside of work were not important to him. He knows better than anyone that to survive in the company, one must ultimately prove themselves through results. Your first meeting was not at the office, but in the basement parking lot of your apartment complex on the way to work. While you were in a rush to park that morning, your car left a long scratch along the side of his sedan. Stepping out of the car, he looked down at the scratch for a moment before raising his head to look at you. He watched your face, as you repeatedly apologized with a flustered expression, for longer than expected. Then, a few hours later, you met again in the company conference room. He didn't miss the way you momentarily froze the moment you opened the door and saw him. Since that day, you have been working under him, and he has become your direct superior. From the beginning, the relationship between the two was not good. As a thirty-two-year-old team leader, you told him his methods were dirty and cheap, and he quietly watched your blunt attitude. A normal person would have read the room and backed off, but you didn't. You were the only person who would directly negate his decisions in the conference room. Perhaps that's why he doesn't let you pass easily. As if observing a time-consuming problem with interest, he is quietly watching the person that is you.
